World Card Making Day

Good Morning friends!  I know I said yesterday I wouldn't post again till next week, but then I remembered today is World Card Making Day...what kind of new blogger would I be, to not post a card on this day of all days?!!  So anyway, I'm back with a card I made from Paper Trey Ink's "Daydreamer" stamp set.

This set has so many beautiful floral images, but my favorite is the poppies!  The bright red just "pops" on these beauties!  I used a 5 x 5 white for the card base, and then stamped the poppies in Stampin' Up's Real Red and stems in Old Olive on another piece of white card stock.  I matted the stamped layer with a piece of Real Red card stock, did some paper piercing in 2 of the corners, and there you have it...a quick and beautiful bright card!

Hope you have a great day stamping!  Thanks for stopping in again, and I'll be back next week with some holiday cards (they'll be here before you know it friends!!).
