Little Shepard Boy

Hello friends.  I know it's not even Halloween yet, but I've got Christmas on the brain!  Yes, I've already started listening to Christmas music, started my shopping, and am totally into making Christmas tags and cards right now!  Hopefully this means I'll be ready when Christmas gets here, right?  RIGHT???

The card I'm sharing today uses a stamp that I found in the bottom of one of my drawers, and I don't have a clue who the manufacturer is.  If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.  It's red rubber, so I know I've had it for quite a while!  But anyway, I think it turned out quite cute, so take a look:

Isn't that such a sweet image?!  I simply stamped it with Memento black ink, and then colored with my Copics.  The background was done with distress inks and a blending tool.  The sentiment is from PTI's O Holy Night stamp set (LOVE this set!!!).  I mounted this layer to a white card base and then added a bit of Wink of Stella to the star.  Easy and one layer to boot! :0)

Thanks so much for stopping by today and have a great weekend! :0)

What a sweet card and sweet, sweet image!! Your coloring is perfect, my friend and the sentiment as well! Isn't it fun to dig out old stamps and give them some love once in a while? A beautiful card!

Marcia, so adorable and colored beautifully. Also love your snowman card. Too cute. Snowmen are my favorite.

Awwww...super cute! It is never too early to start the christmas projects, in fact, I am feeling a little stress now that I know I haven't got enough of them made.
