Here's what I came up with (after a few tries!)
It looks SO cool IRL!! I added a plain white layer that I had die cut with PTI's Mighty Bloom cover plate die over the top of the acetate and then adhered to a white card base. A simple embossed sentiment from PTI's Keep It Simple: Birthday on a strip of black cardstock finished off my card. (smooshing with AL inks, acetate, dry embossing, heat embossing and die cutting)
I'm glad I persevered using acetate as I really like the card I came up with, but I will try some more using acetate with heat embossing and AL inks as I really like the look! My first and 2nd tries were complete disasters, but I did learn a lot through the process. Make sure you check out all the beauties from the DT and watch the videos with the links provided on their site too for more info on how to achieve different looks using acetate...lots of great ideas!
