Hello friends. The inspiration photo at this week's Color Throwdown challenge is SOOO pretty...I'm in love with the color combination and I really, really like that chair!!
I used a couple CONCORD & 9TH sets and came up with this simple card.
I started by embossing the main flower from the You Are Enough set in black and then used a sponge dauber with GinaK's Peach Bellini ink to fill in the petals. I grounded the flower by adding a strip of plaid I had made using CONCORD & 9TH's Plaid Background stamp with black and Peach Bellini inks. I placed a black sentiment strip above the plaid (PTI's Keep It Simple: Birthday) and then added a ribbon from SU! (Groovy Guava - retired). Quite simple but I love that flower and wanted it to be the star of the card. :0)
There's still a few days left to play along with this week's challenge and you can check it all out right HERE.
Thanks for stopping by today ... I love it when you do!
