Happy Monday friends! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! A little dreary here, but the beautiful fall colors made up for it! :0)
Halloween is just around the corner, and although my girls are older now (17, 21, & 23), I still give them Halloween cards and treats. And yes, I do decorate a little bit for Halloween too...mostly outside though. (have to make it festive for the little ones that come looking for treats!) So here's one of the cards I made for this year:
Isn't this cat a hoot? She is a new stamp from Stampin' Up called "Frightening Feline". I stamped her in black and cut her out with a Spellbinders circle die, and then layered her with the Spellbinders scalloped die in black. I used Stampin' Up's Wisteria Wonder card stock and SU's "Print Pattern" background stamp for the upper half of the card (I believe this is a retired stamp now), and then DP for the bottom half . I used a strip of black gross grain ribbon in the middle of the card and added PTI's "Spooktacular" sentiment at the bottom of the card. I also added a couple wiggle eyes to the cat and a few black half backed pearls under the sentiment. Also sponged around the edges of everything on the card with the Wisteria Wonder ink
... LOVE the finished look that spongeing gives! :0)
That's all for today and I'll be back tomorrow with a Christmas Lily of the Valley card. Thanks for checking in...love it when you do!
Nice. I LIKE that!
