Good morning friends. Back with another fun Valentine card for you. This was another find that I'd forgotten I had, and it's one of the Changito Monkey stamps...they are so goofy looking, but ya just gotta love the smile on their faces! :0) Take a look:
I started with a kraft card stock base and ran the front through my Cuttlebug with SU!'s "Love" letter press plate. I sponged it a little with SU!'s Soft Seude ink so that you could see the words better. I cut out the lacy heart with PTI's Limitless Layers heart die and SU!'s Real Red cs, and then Whisper White for the stamped heart layer. After stamping the monkey, I colored him with Copics and then stamped a few hearts in Real Red around him. I thought it needed some "bling", so I filled in the little hearts with some Stickles glitter. I added the heart border (PTI) at the bottom and also threaded some red & white bakers twine (The Twinery) through it. A small red bow finished off the top of the heart. I scored through the top of the white heart and then glued it to the red lacy heart just at the top so that the white layer could be flipped up to see the message. Take a look:
Fits perfectly with the monkey holding on tight to the heart doesn't it?! :0) This card is for my middle daughter to give her fiance for Valentine's Day.
That's all for today friends. Thanks for stopping by and have a terrific Tuesday.
Coleman will love it!
