Merry Monday #176 - Frame It

Hello friends.  Playing along with Merry Monday and this week the challenge is to use a frame on your Christmas card.  I have a very simple card to share with you, but I really love how it turned out.  Take a look:


I started with a white card base and then colored it with Distress Inks (Faded Jeans, Stormy Sky, Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, & Concord Grape) before stamping my image (Stampendous - Silent Night) in Memento Black Ink.  I did use my MISTI on this as the image is larger and I wanted to make sure that I didn't miss any of the branches.  Next I added a simple white frame using one of my Lil Inkers Stitched Rectangle dies.  I finished with some snow dots using my white gel pen.  Easy peasy!! :0)

    I can almost feel like I'm lying on my back in the snow. Looking through the winter trees at the gloriously colored night sky. You card is simple lovely.
