Make it Monday #236 - 2015 A La Carte

Hello friends.  This weeks Make it Monday challenge is to choose one of the challenges from this past year that you might have missed...I don't think I missed a single one, but it was fun to go back through and look at all the different technique's that I learned about!  I picked a couple that I really liked, and then decided on Melissa Phillips Using Gelatos with Stamps.  Mostly I chose to re-do this challenge because Melissa used the Petite Pots set on her card, and since I didn't have that set at the time, but do now and haven't used it yet, it seemed like a good way to break it in! :0)  Here's Melissa's card:

And here's mine:

I only have 4 Gelatos, so I used some DSP (MFT) that I had laying out that matched my Gelatos, and the rest of the card came together very quickly and easily!  The ink colors I used were Limeade Ice, Winter Wisteria, Plum Pudding, Aqua Mist, Ocean Tides, Harvest Gold, and Summer Sunrise.  A little bit of bakers twine (The Twinery) and a few aqua colored sequins finished off my card.

Not much time left to play, but if you're having a cold and snowy day like we are, what better way to spend the rest of the day?!!  You can check out all the past MIM's and add your link HERE.

Thanks so much for stopping by...love it when you do!! :0)

  8. This is wonderful, Marcia! I have not purchased any gelatos, yet. You did fabulously with only four! I love the richness of color with your card. Beautifully done!
