Day 1 is being sponsored by Simon Says Stamp, and I was inspired by Michele, Debby, & Virginia and their use of snowflakes, deer, and triangle shaped tree's.
I used SSS Frozen Fractals snowflake stamps for my background, SSS Lined Trees, and SSS Retro Deer to create my fun little tag. I love the little drop of Autumn Red Nuvo Drops on my deer's nose!
Day 2 is being sponsored by Newton's Nook and unfortunately I don't have any of their stamps or dies, but I was so inspired by Jennifer Timko's beautiful gray & white snowflake tag, I just had to play along! I changed mine up a bit and used a TH Poinsettia stencil instead of the snowflake stencil she used and just love how it came out!
I used embossing paste with my stencil and spread it really thin...it looks SO pretty IRL! A strip of vellum and die cuts from PTI's Wet Paint Holiday Dies with red glitter paper finished off these simple tags.
For Day 3 I was inspired by Kimberly Rendino's oh so cute kraft tags with the birds.
Day 3 is being sponsored by Casual Fridays, so I used their dies to cut out the two tags I used. I stamped the larger tag with a Hero Arts snowflake background stamp (Hand Drawn Snowflakes Bold Prints), and the smaller tag has a Poppystamps Leafy Sprig die cut and the bird die cut from PTI's Songbirds set. The snowflake on top of the bird is from a small set of Impression Obsession dies. I also loved the way Kimberly added a piece of washi tape to the larger tag, and added a piece to mine too. My gift wrapping theme this year is red & white, so this tag will look super on it! :0)
LOT'S of BEAUTIFUL tags to be inspired by, and lots of prizes up for grabs too, so play along right HERE.
Thanks for stopping by today ... I love it when you do!
I love your 3 tags Marcia - they are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteMarcia, I love all the tags, but the one that caught my eye was the gray embossed. so elegant :)
ReplyDeleteI really love your style, Marcia--always inspired when I come to your blog! I loved Jennifer's tags, too, but I might even like your version better! Just made one tag so far & still need to do a post, so I better get a move on!
ReplyDeleteOh Marcia, all three of these are fabulous! That little reindeer is so cute and has me wishing I had that set. Always the enabler. ;0)

ReplyDeleteAll three of these tags are fabulous. If I had to pick just one, i guess I would pick the embossed gray, white and red one.
ReplyDeleteEach of your three tags are very creative. I love how you used the embossing paste...I have never tried it. Another thing to add to my "want" list. :)
