I used an ornament die from AliExpress and a scrap of cardstock I had used Lindy's Magicals on to come up with my card.
I wish I knew how to capture the sparkle and shimmer of the Lindy's Magicals, but you'll just have to use your imagination instead. I really LOVE the way this one turned out!
There are some absolutely GORGEOUS cards from the DT and also in the gallery already, so if you're looking for some inspiration for Christmas cards, make sure you check out the CAS Christmas site HERE. This challenge is open until the 24th.
Thanks for stopping by today ... I love it when you do!
Beautiful ornament, Marcia! I can imagine the sparkle you have going on there, I am a witness to use magical powders! Love the embossing folder with the pine branches, that is so cool! Have a great weekend! Heart Hugs, Col
ReplyDeleteYour ornament is gorgeous Marcia!! I know how shimmery this is. :) Great mixing with the inlaid design and the dry embossed background of pine sprigs ... works so perfectly together. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Christmas! xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful ornament, Marcia! Love the Lindy's colors and how you've inlaid those tiny pieces! It looks so pretty on the embossed pine! Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Christmas!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous ornament card, Marcia! Your Lindy's Magicals ornament is just BEAUTIFUL!! I love the colors (and they must look more sparkly and shimmery IRL)! You also worked on the details so well - dry embossed the pine branches, inlaid the ornament, and inked the sentiment with the festive shimmer silver. Thank you so much for sharing the wonderful card at CAS Christmas! Hideko xx
ReplyDeleteVery nice Merry Christmas!

Striking card, Marcia! Fabulous job with the Magicals... I was not so successful with my attempt and had to use a DIY shimmer spray to get the sparkle I wanted. Love the colours and the embossed pine background. Thank you for joining us at CAS Christmas. xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful ornament card this is! The magical powders made for a fabulous look on your ornament. So stunning my friend!
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love the magical things that brusho makes?
