CAS Watercolour April 2018 Reminder

Hello friends.  Just a friendly little reminder that you have until the 24th to play along with us here at CAS Watercolour and that this month's theme is BIRDS.


I have a super easy CAS card to share with you today.




I used a small scrap (literally!!) of cardstock that I had watercoloured using Lindy's Magical Powders (Tibetan Poppy Teal & Witch's Potion Purple) to die cut my 5 little birdies (AliExpress).  I mounted them to a A2 size card base and then added a top layer that I had die cut with MFT's Rectangle Peek-a-Boo Window.  My sentiment comes from MFT's I'm Tweet On You stamp set and the little musical notes are from MFT's Strike Up The Band stamp set.  The beauty in this simple card is definitely the Lindy's Magicals that just shimmer and shine IRL.

    I love the colours you used for the birds - my favourite shades of blue and mauve. I like the way you have them simply set on a white background and framed with white - CAS perfection!

    What a precious watercoloured piece you used for the pretty birds, Marcia! The Lindy's Magicals colors (and probably shimmer IRL) are amazing! I love that you stamped the little musical notes above the sentiment. They make the birds look like singing "Happy birthday"! Hideko xx

    Love these birds! I must find out about Lindy's Magical powders that I am seeing everywhere. They look awesome and the names of the colors are great. You used a beautiful combo of colors on this card.
