Merry Monday #287

Hello friends.  Colleen is hosting this week's Merry Monday challenge and she has a fabulous inspiration photo to inspire us this week!


I just loved the colors from this photo and the sweet home-y feeling it brings, so that was my starting point for my card this week!

I loved the pinks, reds, and greens in the inspiration photo, and used Catherine Poolers dies from the Winterhaven set to cut out my houses, church, and trees, and also the snowy slopes.  My background was blended using Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans, and Stormy Sky Distress Inks and then I splattered some water to add the look of snow falling.  My sentiment is from PTI's Think Big Favorites: #20.

    I just love your scene, the houses from the Winterhaven collections is perfect for this and your scene is adorable! I love it friend! Have a good week! We are in Las Vegas now..only 90+ degrees! A little hot for me to start this season!! Have a great week!

    Adorable winter scene Marcia. Love your sweet village with the red, white and pink houses and church. And I LOVE that sentiment ... almost used it for last week's challenge. :) I know I'm going to be singing this song for the next few days. :) xx
