25 Days of Tags 2018 - Days 1, 2, & 3

Hello friends.  I love, LOVE making Christmas tags and today I am playing along with Days 1, 2, & 3 of Tracey McNealy's 25 Days of Christmas Tags challenge.

Day 1 was sponsored by Simon Says Stamp and I was inspired by 2 different tags and came up with these:

For the tag on the left, I was inspired by Jo Nevil's tag...I LOVED how she used tiny Poinsettia's (PTI's Pleasing Envelopes) on top of die cut snowflakes (SSS's Marisa Snowflake) and the Faire Isle background (Catherine Pooler's Cozy Border's).  For the tag on the right I was inspired Debbie Yates adorable tag with all the red & white with the pop of green for her wreath and used an AliExpress tag die and PTI's Mini Tag Along kit for the wreath.

Day 2 was sponsored by Altenew :

I loved Enza Gudor's lovely, lovely tag using Altenew's Holiday Bow stamp set.  I stamped and fussy cut everything out and attached to a tag I stamped with a hardwood background stamp in light gray ink.  The sentiment is from Altenew's Blessings stamp set.

Day 3 is being sponsored by Concord & 9th:

I absolutely fell in LOVE with Emily Midgett's beautiful black & white tag with the pop of teal!  I used Concord & 9th's Plaid Background stamp set on top of an MFT tag and then added the die cuts using PTI's Bold Borders: Yuletide, Shaped Sayings: Christmas, & Holly Jolly dies with silver cs (Thanks Darnell!!) and silver glittered cs that I colored with a Copic BG49 marker to get the teal color.  A few white Nuvo drops were added for the berries.

I was hoping to catch a bit of the sparkle from the Copic colored silver glitter cs, but no sunshine or decent light to photograph with today...grrrrrr!!

This is such a FUN challenge to play along with and you can check it all out right HERE.

Thanks for stopping by today ... I love it when you do!
