So many BEAUTIFUL papers and die cuts and flowers in lovely shades of reds and blues and gold accents in this months kit...I thought I was running out of time to even get started on this months kit, but these supplies practically produced my cards all by themselves in just a few hours! For a list of all the supplies Michelle included in her kit, check HERE.
The only thing I added for this card was my sentiment (PTI's Keep It Simple: Thing Of You) and a thin strip of gold mirror cardstock. Michelle had the 4 layer tag all assembled and I just fussy cut the rose from the background DSP Michelle included in this kit.
Michelle had all the pieces for this lovely cake already stamped and die cut, so it was just a matter of assembling with the embossed piece and a strip of DSP. Again, all I added was the strip of gold mirror cardstock and some gold thread across the top.
Another easy peasy card to put together...Michelle did all the work and I just glued it all down! :0)
This card comes across rather plain jane, but IRL it's all shimmery and sparkly! I used a Copic marker to color in the stripes on "BOY" and then used my WOS brush over it along with all the windows and details of the plane and helicopter. I'll be setting this card aside for my grandson's 3rd birthday next year as he LOVES airplanes!
All of the cards came together so easily this month, but this card was probably the easiest! The flowered panel already had the gold sentiment on it, and I just matted it to a red layer and a white card base, and then added a simple red banner tag with a gold heart and a piece of the blue and white twine Michelle included in the kit.
And last but not least, a sweet little birthday tag where all I added was the die cut tag from PTI's Quilted: Winter set and then fussy cut the images that Michelle had already stamped. I think this would look so cute on a kraft or white gift bag!!
And here they are all together! Fun, FUN kit Michelle, and so easy to work with! It's always fun to see what the other gals came up with using this same kit, so check it all out HERE and enjoy this End Of Summer Soiree!
Thanks for stopping by today ... I love it when you do!
Oh Marcia, where do I even begin? All your cards are amazing!! First, I love how you used all the tags that Michelle sent, together. I'm glad I still have mine so I can case your idea. How perfect that Landon loves airplanes; that will be the perfect card for his 3rd birthday. Your teddy bear tag is totally adorable and the "You Are Beautiful" card is stunning. Well done my friend!
ReplyDeleteYou created such amazing cards with this beautiful kit, Marcia! I love your touches of gold that work so beautifully with the papers. Every little detail is a sight to behold: the tags clustered together, the way you arranged the flowers and icing on your cake, in fact, the way you arranged the flowers and sky elements too! You could be a professional arranger - maybe furniture or flowers... Anyway, I must get down to that wonderful tag at the bottom that just stole my heart with all the elements cut out and, again, ARRANGED perfectly!
ReplyDeleteI'll just go 'wow' and leave it at that! Jo x
ReplyDeleteI love that you kept the cluster of tags together and used them all on a card! I still have mine *wink* Your cake looks simply lovely with the touches of gold and sweet embossed background. But I think my favorite today is the bear tag. I still have him and love this cute idea! Enjoy your holiday weekend!
ReplyDeleteYou are spoiling us today with these wonderful and beautiful cards. I love the multi layering of the tag and I love your cards x.
ReplyDeleteFantastic assortment of cards from this kit, Marcia! It's too hard to pick a favorite!
ReplyDeleteLoved it all, Marcia, especially the sweet little plane pointed upward. Just so clever and sweet. (Testing my commenting, excuse the short and sweet.)
ReplyDeleteYAY...it came through!! :0)
DeleteGoodness, every one is so amazing! Love that you were able to use the tags. I kept thinking of what to do and ended up just keeping them for later. Your cake card is gorgeous, love the touches of gold. Fun card for your grandson too. My favorite is the fantastic tag with the sweet bear, so adorable! You were so patient and fussy cut each of the elements.
ReplyDeleteLove the creations you have made, such a fun lot of goodies
ReplyDeleteOh my...you really made Michelle's kit shine, so many beautiful creations! Love your first card with all the sweet beautiful flowers, what a wonderful way to say thank you! And your adorable bear tag, just too much fun! Really love them all.
ReplyDeleteSuch gorgeous cards, Marcia ... all of them! I was especially taken by that lovely cake with the floral panel and gold along the edge ... and by your grandson's shimmery skyscene ... it's fantastic! I just love that little bear on the tag ... so cute and so fun! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteMarcia right out of the gate I love how you used the tags from the kit all on one card and the sentiment running down the side is perfect! Each card put together so thoughtfully, lots of ideas for my leftovers now! Fabulous!
