Definitely says HALLOWEEN to me, but you do you and use hues of these two colors to create whatever you'd like! I pulled out a stamp and die set that I've had so much fun with this past year from Waffle Flower Crafts and came up with this card...
Have you all gotten on the Postage Collage die bandwagon yet? Waffle Flower has so many stamp sets and stencils to go along with the postage die for every holiday and season, and they are all so much FUN! For my card today I only used the Postage Collage Coloring Stencil for the background PURPLE & ORANGE colors, and then for the "air-mail" stripes around the edges of the card base.
I filled in each square with images from the Happy Halloween and Boo stamp sets (both also Waffle Flower) with black ink, and then adhered the stamped panel to a piece of Pumpkin Pie cs (SU!) and my card base that I had stenciled the "air-mail" stripes on. Hardest part of this card was deciding which images to use in each square!
The DT and our Special GD's (welcome Trina and Stephanie!!) have lots of fabulous inspiration to get you started, so check it all out right HERE, and then play along with us. This challenge is open till Monday, Oct. 14th @ 9:00AM.
Thanks for stopping by today ... I love it when you do!
You know how much I love that broom-busting adorable bear, Marcia! These were the perfect colors for your Halloween collage! SO fab-BOO-lous!

This is so adorable, Marcia. I have loved these Postage Collages from the beginning but have not gotten on the bandwagon. Lol.
ReplyDeleteI didn't get in on the postage stamp bandwagon because I knew I would want it ALL! You have done these colors beautifully! Love the airmail stripes and all the sweet images! The Happy Halloween is fantastic and so is that sweet bear flying over all!
ReplyDeleteCUTE! Love the stamp set you used for this, such a perfect fit
ReplyDeleteI could not love this more, Marcia. That bear melts my heart every time, and I just love all the images that you surrounded him with. Love the inking of the "stamp" backgrounds and the air mai edges. Fabulous card.
ReplyDeleteThis little fella always brings a smile! Your card is just as cute as it can be, Marcia!
ReplyDeleteGreat card !!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the softer version of those colors on your card, Marcia, and all the images are so much fun.
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable, Marcia! You picked the perfect colors for this fun Halloween card. These postage dies and stencils are just way too much fun. I wish I had more of the stencils.
ReplyDeleteA rousing YES to anything and everything postage collage! I am definitely on the bandwagon; in fact, I may be the leader of the band! Of course, this means that I'm completely smitten with your card; fabulous images, wonderful hues of the colours and, of course, extra delightful as a postage collage version. Love this!

You've made this into such a HAPPY Halloween card with those friendly characters! I'm really loving the airmail stripes to go with it. The more I see the more I'm tempted to jump on that bandwagon. The bear always makes me grin. Methinks she needs a bigger broom!
ReplyDeleteNo I haven't joined the bandwagon yet but I'm sorely tempted now! This a fun take on my spooky colour choice Marcia. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is faBOOlous! The image are so cute. Your stencilling is beautiful
ReplyDelete'I’m trying my best not to get swept up on the bandwagon, but it gets harder each time I see creations like this.
You are SO clever to stamp across multiple windows. I love this dearly my friend.
ReplyDeleteYou've created maximum spooky cuteness with your fabulous Halloween card, Marcia! Allowing the stamps to go outside the postage stamp area makes it such a cohesive design, and I love all the images you chose to use! Super fun!
ReplyDeleteWhat great colors for Halloween (who knew!) and super fun images on your postage panel!
ReplyDeleteMarcia, I love everything about this card but mostly your placement of the images and especially the bear on the broomstick! Faboolous!!
