Merry Monday #212 - Gold, Black & White

Hello friends.  Exciting news to share with you today...I've been asked to join the Merry Monday Design Team!  I'm still in a bit of shock as I have loved playing along with all these talented ladies for over 3 years now, and to actually be asked to join them on their team...well, color me happy!  Anyone who has followed me for awhile knows that I just LOVE making Christmas cards, so this is  the perfect opportunity for me.  I hope you'll follow me (and ALL the other talented ladies on this team!) every week and be inspired to get those cards done early before all the other preparations begin and time is short!  So welcome back after the Summer break and let's get started!!

Deanne chose this challenge, and while not your traditional Christmas colors, Gold, Black & White are SO elegant together and I loved playing along with this one!  Take a look:

Although my card is a very quick and simple one, I love the CAS look to it!  I used a new Penny Black die called Manger with gold mirrored cardstock and simply laid it against a black layer, and then added another white layer that was die cut with a Gina Marie Designs scalloped circle die and a Lil Inkers Stitched Rectangle die.  Attached both of these layers to a white card base and embossed my sentiment from PTI's Stained Glass stamp set in gold.  If you need to mass produce cards, this would be a great one to do that with.
