25 Days of Christmas Tags - Days 3 & 4

Hello friends.  Playing along with days 3 & 4 of Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags.  Day 3 is being sponsored by Newton's Nook and I was inspired by a couple of the tags that used small triangle shaped trees, and day 4 is being sponsored by Simon Says Stamp and I was inspired by the double tags.

So many people use greenery when photographing their Christmas cards and tags, so I decided to get on the bandwagon and picked up a little greenery pick at Hobby Lobby this morning...I think it really does give the photo an extra boost, and for .99, why not?!!  :0)  I used PTI's Tag Sale #3 dies for my red and white tags, and then SSS's STAMPtember Holiday Trimmings (by WPlus9) for my sentiment and tree.  My wrapping theme for Christmas this year is traditional red and green plaid, so most of my tags this year will be in those colors...as much as I love making all the non traditional pink and blue tags, they will not match my gift wrap this year, so you will not be seeing those colors here.  I am pretty anal when it comes to color coordinating...sorry!  If you do like the pinks and blues, make sure you check out Day 4 as there is some stunning inspiration there.  You can find it all and play along right HERE.

Thanks so much for stopping by today...I love it when you do!

  1. I love your sweet tag Marcia! The punched polka dot border is adorable!! You're right at how much the greens add to the photo's. It looks very professional. I think I'll dig mine out too. ;0)
