I had just received the Effortless Beauties stamp set this past week, and spent a few hours inking up all the lovely florals in different colors, so I have 2 cards to share with you today as I had LOTS of flowers to use!! Here's my first one...
I started with a white card base and then used the Bold Borders: Circles die to cut a top layer in white for the white on white look. Some of the flowers are just stamped and some were inked and then spritzed with water to give a bit of a water colored look. I also added the latest Feathered Friends Mini #8 ...just love this sweet chubby little bird!!
I finished with an embossed sentiment strip (from the Effortless Beauties stamp set), some Distress Glitter, and a few sequins.
My 2nd card uses all the same elements, but I changed up the Bold Borders: Circles die cut to Berry Sorbet cardstock and made the card horizontal rather than vertical like my first card.
My sentiment on this card comes from an oldie but goodie set called Bloomin' Button Bits by PTI.

Two lovely cards, Marcia! I like your touches of sparkle and the sweet little bird you tucked into the first one. Then, of course, there are those polka dots!
Fabulous cards, Marcia, I too love that bird and was very tempted to purchase it, but it was already OOS so I guess I will stick with The Greetery Wrens and Robins! I LOVE your cluster of flowers, they are so pretty!
Oh my what a fun frame with all those holes though I think of them as big ol dots! Love it as the trellis for your lovely blooms.

Such gorgeous soft blooms on both cards, Marcia ... so spring like ... and the dotty background looks so different on each with the change of colour! That tiny bird is just so sweet ... and the touch of shimmer is like dew! Just lovely! Hugs, Anita :)

Hi Marcia! What a delight to come back from vacation and play catch up on your blog. You've had lots of lovely floral inspiration while I was away. The colors on these cards are so cheerful and spring-like and that little bird is darling. I'm more than ready to welcome in the warmer weather and the flowers into my garden.
