Aren't those Polar bears just ADORABLE?!! I started by making the background using residual ink from my green, blue, pink & purple blending brushes and a piece of acetate to blend against different angles with the different colors. I was trying for a kind of northern lights look.
After the ink blending I added a couple torn strips of white cardstock for snowbanks and added glitter to the torn edges. My sentiment is a very old PTI one called Think Big Favorites #20 and I still love using it every year! I added foam tape behind the bears for some added dimension and called it good.
Still a couple days left to play along in this challenge, and you can find all the details and more inspiration from the DT right HERE. A very big THANK YOU to Diane & Darlene for their generous gift and for all the work they put into running so many successful challenges...I honestly don't know how they keep track of it all! This challenge is open till Sunday, Dec. 1st @ 8:00PM.

How ever did you host Thanksgiving and still have time to make this adorable card?? You are that good, my friend!
Your Northern Lights are gorgeous [Bonnie influenced my playtime yesterday, too!] and that little Mama Bear Baby Bear duo is truly adorable! What a darling Christmas card!

Sweet and as adorable as can be! I love the look of this background and it's a perfect one for these two sweeties
This is such an adorable card, Marcia! I love the little bears and your northern lights at fantastic. The sparkling snow is a special touch too. Super duper sweet!
Wowie! This is amazing, Marcia! I'm a few days behind as I got too busy at home for a while and I haven't seen Bonnie's card, but I'll for sure have a look soon! I saw the stylized northern lights right away and, of course, I love your CC polar bear mama and cub. The sparkle on the snow is beautiful, too, and the sentiment is a perfect balance. Love seeing your card in the DD gallery. I'll be having a look at your previous card next. Thanks, friend!
What a fabulous northern lights background you created for those adorable polar bears. The sentiment looks great too, and I like the glitter on the torn edges of the snowbanks. Great Christmas card.
sweet card, I love the retiform effect ♥

The northern lights were a great way to show off those adorable bears, Marcia. I saw Bonnie's card and will have to try that technique soon before I forget it again.
This is darling Marcia! What a great job you've done on your Northern Lights. Those polar bears look right at home on the sparkly snow. Congrats on your win of this adorable die set. It's found a good home.
Oh my =, Marcia! Your attempt at creating Northern Lights here is a huge success. It made me gasp a little (in a "wow" way) when I saw it. Just a fabulous card - so sweet and so beautiful. I have that sentiment set. Thanks for the reminder of it. I am so far behind on Christmas card making... This is my usual every year. Sometimes, I just go straight to Valentines.... Many hugs to you.
My first thought when seeing this card was Northern Lights, Marcia! It's a perfect background for these delightful bears! I'm glad I could inspire you, my friend, and now you've inspired me!
This is BEAUTIFUL, Marcia!! Love your sweet polar bears, and your northern lights background --- gorgeous! xx
This is totally adorably CUTE and those lights behind are beautiful, you are so creative, I am so happy you won these bears, they are so fun to play with...Cottage Cutz just has/had an up to 85% off sale...hmm, maybe I should do a little more shopping. Thanks for the shout out and for sharing with us, somehow I missed seeing this at first, but this challenge was Darlene's, so guess I dropped the ball!!
