Merry Monday #173 - Colors of the Rainbow

Hello friends.  Playing along with Merry Monday today and we are being asked to use rainbow colors on our Christmas cards.  I admit I struggled a bit with this one, and ended up using a Unity Stamp Co. stamp called May Your Days Be Merry & Bright"...I figured the string of colored lights tangled around the deer's antlers were about as rainbow colored as you could get!  Take a look:

You ever have one of those stamps where when you first stamp it in black on white, you can't tell which lines go with which images, and really start doubting your eyes ability to see correctly?  That was the case with the body of this reindeer for me, and looking at it now, I think maybe the designer only showed the 2 front legs, and the "other" black line was the string for the lights.  Oh well, it is what it is!!  It was fun to color all the colored lights with my Copics, and then frame it out in this cute little Merry Christmas frame by Simon Says Stamp.  My red striped background paper is from SU!'s Season of Style pad.

Thanks so much for stopping by today...I love it when you do! :0)

  6. This stamp is so cute! I love the reindeer with the lights. I, too, struggle with some images that are detailed and not sure where to color or not. You did the rainbow challenge well! The reindeer looks good, too, regardless if you colored him correctly or not. I wouldn't have noticed it.
