Color Throwdown #463 - World Cardmaking Day

Hello friends.  I'm loosely combining the latest Color Throwdown challenge and World Cardmaking Day with some fabulous die cuts that my dear friend BIRGIT sent me.

And here's what I came up with:

Aren't those just the prettiest die cuts?!  I had so much fun just distressing them up a bit with some orange and kraft colored inks!  Wish I could tell you the manufacturer...Birgit designs for Dies R Us, so I'm thinking that's where they might be from.  I'm hoping that the Color Throwdown team will forgive the bit of green and Ocean Tides I added to their color challenge...just needed that pop of color!  The card base and layer are die cut from PTI's Noted: Scalloped A2 Vertical dies and sentiment from PTI's Mum's The Word stamp set.  You can check out all the great cards from the DT and players in the gallery right HERE.

Hope you ALL get some time to get inky for World Card Making Day!!

Thanks for stopping by today ... I love it when you do!

What?????? I love this sweet little fall scene you've created Marcia!!! I'm so going to have to CASE this. ;0) They're mostly dies from Marianne Designs, all except the leaves which are a mix of dies. This is so sweet!

Your "FOLLOW" button must be new. I just became your newest follower. ;0) Oh, and yes, the dies are from DRU Special Order event. The only time they offer Marianne Designs dies. I'm in love with them!
