There's a lot of coffee lovers out there, but I am NOT one of them! (tastes like HOT DIRT as Laura Bassen would say!!) However, I am a hot tea lover and hot chocolate too, so it makes sense that one of my favorite dies is PTI's Fancy Tea Cup die! Here's what I came up with using the same die for different cards:
I'd say a Thinking of You and Christmas are definitely 2 different types of cards!
For my 1st card I used some Hibiscus Burst DSP and gold mirror cardstock for the Fancy Tea Cup die, and then filled it with flowers that I stamped and fussy cut using PTI's Farmer's Market Florals. I attached them to a Scalloped Tags Die (PTI) that I stamped repeatedly on a diagonal with the sentiment from Tea For Two Additions (also PTI). I used the same set to stamp a bunch of tea cups with versamark ink on the Hibiscus Burst panel.
For my 2nd card I chose to make a Christmas card with the Fancy Tea Cup die and the adorable little mice from PTI's Christmas Critters.
I kept this card pretty simple as I wanted the focus to be on the antics of the 2 sweet mice decked out in their Christmas finery and the tea cups! I used PTI's Bitty Big DSP in Pure Poppy and Green Parakeet for the tea cups and the little strip on the side of the card base, and then inked up the scarf and sweater in the same colors.
A little hard to see in my pictures, but I double pop dotted the tea cups in the centers so I could curve the tea cups to add some dimension and make them look a little more realistic with the mice under and in them. I finished with a simple sentiment from PTI's Christmas Critters Sentiments.

Two fabulous cards, Marcia! Just love the tag with the fancy cup bouquet and the mice duo is so darling in their cups!!
Oh how cool that Double D is doing coffee and tea so it works for your cards, too! I am so over the moon with your two makes this month, Marcia! I have a little African Violet in a teacup so I love your hibiscus design! The colors, tag, and ribbon make it so sweet and feminine! And then we have a whimsical delight with your mouse antics with those tea cups! Super Christmas colors, super cute and fun, and very cleverly pop-dotted, too! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #7! Hugs, Darnell
Oh my goodness, Marcia, I am in love with these cards! PTI needs to contact you! There's so much detail in all your stamping and layering on your gorgeous thinking of you card! You have the perfect amount of white space and dp to create that wonderful Christmas scene! I love how you rounded the cups, and those little mice could not be any cuter! Thanks for joining in the fun with us at the Twofer Card Challenge!
This is such a pretty tea cup, Marcia! Love the pretty flowers the first one holds! The mice are adorable, although I don't think I'd like to pick up a tea cup and find a real one! I'll stick to the paper ones, myself! Very clever Twofer use of this die!
SWOON!! Love the feminine prettiness all layered up on your first card. Those sure are pretty flowers. And then there are those darling polka dot cups with the cute little mice!! Love them both Marcia!
It sure does Marcia! What a fabulously fun holiday creation! Too cute! Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Double D ‘Tea and/or Coffee’ challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.

Oh my gosh, these two cards are fantastic, Marcia!! LOVE that sweet tea cup filled with flowers. Such pretty images and the papers you've used are so sweet. Add in the gold foil paper and the scalloped tag and it's a beautiful design with so many wonderful elements that work perfect together! And it's the same for the Christmas card. Sweet polka dot paper for the cups and the mice hiding undernearth ... very creative and fun design! Thanks for playing along with us at Twofer Card Challenge! xx

Oh yes, this tea lover just had to pop in to comment on these sweet cards! Marcia those mice and the teacups have been knocked off my wish list over and over again and now I'm convinced that I need them! You've shown the versatility of both sets so well. LOVE what you've done here! ACK - The mice! Adorable.
Just fabulous! Of course, those mice stole my heart!
These cards are fabulous! I love the cup of gorgeous flowers (you fussy cut those? Wow—you are good!), and I love the mouse under the cup. What a terrific idea! So cute! (Now I want that Christmas Critters set...)
Oh Marcia! Both of your cards are simply amaZing! I love the pretty flowers in that adorable tea cup on a tag ~ and the Christmas card is just too darn cute and a fun design :-)
These are two delights in the gallery, Marcia. That flower filled teacup is just beautiful and I love how you've used the dp for the cup. Its pretty pattern doesn't detract from those gorgeous flowers; it only enhances them! Great idea to stamp on your tag, too! Love that idea. And those mice...Oh so cute!! Clever, too, to curve your teacups! Thanks so much for joining us at the Twofer Challenge. Bev
Now, how did I miss these wonderful cards?? They're both adorable! I love the little mice playing in the teacups. So incredibly clever of you. Those flowers make a perfect bouquet in the teacup as well. You need to be on Darnell's design team because you rock her challenges every time!
OMG they are so gorgeous!! I would love to wak around your thought process.. You have oncredible ideas that always come off brilliantly!
I've hardly thought about Christmas cards. But I absolutely must make your mouse and tea cup card.
