Aren't they a hoot?! I stamped them in Versafine Black Onyx and then heat set them with clear embossing powder so I could water color them. The middle one that I water colored with Lovely Lilac (retired SU! ink that I still LOVE!!) reminds me of an actress from back a ways...those of you old enough might remember Phyllis Diller? I always thought she was a hoot and for some reason this bird just really reminds me of her! I trimmed around the top of the 3 birds and added it to a plaid panel of Green Parakeet dsp from PTI, and then both layers to a white card base.
I couldn't capture it with my camera, but I did add WOS to Phyllis's hair do...it just seemed to fit her character! Haha!! My birthday sentiment comes from The Greetery's Opposites Attract stamp and die set and I finished with a few purple gems from PFS. Simple but fun and I'm sure it will give the recipient a good chuckle.
There are sooooo many beautiful birds from the talented DT and the players also, so check them all out right HERE and then play along. This challenge is open till Sunday, March 30th @ 8:00PM.

This trio of birds is adorable and an absolute hoot, for sure! It looks like the bird on the right is laughing at the two birds on the left. They make me laugh too. Great soft water coloring on Phyllis and her friends. This card is super cute and will definitely deliver smiles.
Totally Phyllis Diller! with Dom Delouise and Tim Conway to her left and right! SO cahUTE, Marcia! Phyllis used to say 'housework can't kill ya, but why take the chance?'
Happy weekend, my friend!

This is the best! The trio of birds are so fun and I do remember Phyllis Diller and her wild hair. Love the colors, including the water coloring and clean design. You may have just enabled me to purchase this Flock Talk set! Thanks for sharing with the Double D's "Bird" Challenge.
You're right, Marcia. She does remind me of Phyllis Diller and I'm so glad you are enjoying this set of silly birds. They always make me smile and I appreciate the inspiration of things to do with them. I love how you've colored them, cut them and that plaid paper behind them really sets them off! Fun card, my friend!
Oh, yes, it will give the recipient a chuckle! I love these birds! The middle one is so Phyllis Diller with the hair. I can hear her laugh now! They're all just such fun! I'm smiling as I type this. Marcia, I'm so happy to see this trio in our Double D Birds gallery!
I do remember Phyllis Diller and you're right about that bird bringing her to mind, Marcia. The card is so much fun with all three of those sillies together.
This trio is TOO MUCH FUN! Thanks for the smiles, Marcia with this cute card!
OMG ... no wonder you just had to created with these crazy Phyllis birds lol. Yes, I'm old enough to remember her in fact, I met her in person YEARS AGO when my sister & I tap danced on the Mike Douglas (remember him?) show when we were kids. CUTE CUTE card ... brought an immediate smile! (and chuckle). Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Double D challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.

Adorable! Crazy Birds = Phyllis Diller? Yep, I totally get it, Marcia. You've made an adorable card that will definitely bring smiles. BTW, it's on my list too because of that dear Bonnie gal
I saw your card while browsing and had to pop in to tell you it's so cute. I have these birds and love them. I do remember Phyllis Diller. She was a great comedian without being vulgar. She DID NOT like any comedy that was vulgar. As you said, she was a hoot!
