I started with a Tim Holtz die set called Winter Wishes and die cut the snowman and snowflake from white and Spring Rain (PTI) cardstock, and then antiquing them both a little with some residual brown ink left on my blending brush. Tim always makes everything look vintage, so that's where the inspiration from using the brown ink came from. Take a look...
I ran a panel of white cs through SSS's Icy Snowflakes embossing folder and then lightly ran a Spring Rain ink cube across the raised edges of the snowflakes. I also added more brown ink to the outside edges to keep with the antique/vintage look before adding the panel to a Spring Rain card base. I added foam tape behind the bookmark and the snowman to add a little dimension, and then finished with a bit of ribbon & twine and a few Disco Ball sequins (Gina K).

I adore your antiqued snowman - is this Stump or Shorty? lol Your snowflake is absolutely gorgeous, and the embossed snowflakes bring it all together, Marcia! Gorgeous take on Jen's Sketch!

Every element on this card flows together perfectly, Marcia! It's fabulous!
Marcia, this is gorgeous. I love these kinds of cards. I try to make them and they just flop on me. Well done. Its in my top 5 of your long list of gorgeous cards.
Nailed it! This little card is a sweet, antiqued bit of perfection -- every element is perfect, it flows and melds together like pb&j. Adorable, Marcia!
I'm loving this sweet snowman, Marcia, and the bookmark, and the embossed and inked background and especially the die cut snowflake that holds your snowman! Thanks for the cooling thoughts, my friend!
Ha, that's too funny that you say he looks a little confused. Now that you mention it... Gosh, I love this in the gentle colors, looking a little antique just as Tim would have liked it. The embossing is pretty, and I love the big spikey snowflake as a backdrop for your snowguy. You aced the sketch and the challenge both, Marcia!
Oh Marcia, you are so talented! This is just beautiful! Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Peace on Earth challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the way you've used this sketch, Marcia. Your snowman is adorable and I love him perched on the large die-cut snowflake with the tag and snowflake embossed paper in the background. The colour are awesome ... muted and vintage-y --- perfect!! xx
