You start with the background stencil (I used gray) and then follow through with the other 4 stencils, so you use 5 colors total. My inks and cs are all C&9 on this one. My sentiments were stamped and die cut using Gina K's Let Your Light Shine set and then I finished with a few Disco Ball sequins.
For this set I started by stenciling my background black and IRL it makes a pretty dramatic back drop! I used the traditional red & green for the rest of the stenciling, and then added frames using Kristina Werner's A2 Thin Frame Dies and sentiments from older PTI dies, both with gold mirror cs.
My last set of cards was done ombre style using a 6th stencil that is included in the set, starting light and adding more color as I went up. I matted these in gold mirror cs and then added sentiments from WPlus9's Joyful Poinsettia stamp set.
This is such a neat set if you need to turn out a lot of cards at once and also just plain fun to play with! There is a lot of beautiful inspiration from the DT that shows a lot of different ways to make your own backgrounds and you can find them all right HERE. This challenge is open till Sunday, Sept. 28th @ 8:00PM.

Stencils like this are absolute magic and so much fun to watch develop under your hand! Just look at those festive and colorful designs! Six more Christmas cards just like that (snapping my fingers, but only in my head 'cuz it would hurt too much)! Way to go, Marcia! They're perfect for our Double D challenge. Thanks!
These sure look like you had fun with the stencils. Love your color choices...bright and cherry.
I can't wait to get inky with this one, Marcia! You have really made that stencil set shine, and I love all the ways you've finished your cards. It's the perfect time to pull out those larger sentiments! {Idon't have to say which one is my favorite, right? lol}

I love that you did sets using different colors! These are all oodles of fun, Marcia. What a great stencil set!
These are fantastic, Marcia! I love it when the stencils do all the heavy work. The color choices are endless with a set like this. Yay for you for whipping up 6 more cards for your stash.
Colorful, festive and FUN! Wow, you've made great backgrounds and cards too, and it sounds awesome that you can make two at once. Well done, Friend
I watched Kristina's live from Jennifer's where she used some non-traditional colors and was enthralled by the stencil. You made six fantastic cards using different color combinations and greetings and I love every one, Marcia.
These are amazing, Marcia! These layered stencils boggle my mind but you have a perfect grasp of them! Six great Christmas cards!
How fun are these, Marcia?! I just love all of these cards. How different they appear when the colors are changed. I love the large sentiments of the first set, the gold die cuts on the second set, and the tags and twine on the third. FABULOUS cards!
Your cards are so fun and colourful, Marcia. What a great idea to have a stencil that makes two backgrounds at the same time. We could all use more ideas like that to build our stash ... especially for the upcoming Christmas season. xx
WOW, Marcia, these beauties really caught my eye! What wonderful stencils and it looks like you really had fun rolling out these fabulous colorful designs. The recipient will love receiving such a pretty festive card.
