I started with kraft cs and used Gina K's Brick Wall stencil after die cutting the house using the Market Place No. 1 die...I love the brick look to these old time Market Place buildings!
I did use WOS on the hearts and red gems (PFS) on the sentiment banners and the bows on the swag.
I do not have the die that creates the box that you can add to the house front to hold treats, but designed a simple box on my own that I could add to the house. I cut a piece of cs to 9 1/2" x 5" and scored at 1" on the long side, and then scored on short side at 1/4", 3 1/4" past the 1/4", 1 1/2" past the 3 1/4", and then again at 1 1/2" past the last 3 1/4". (I hope that made sense?!!) You do need to snip the bottom 1" pieces to create tabs to fold for the bottom of the box...the top is obviously open. I used tear n tape on the bottom and the side 1/4" tab. Before assembling the box, I did use the die that cuts the windows and door so you could see into the box. Before (or IF) I give these away, I will add some red crinkle cut paper filler before adding the chocolate.
Sorry for such a loooong post, but here they are together! These houses were addicting at Christmas and these Valentine ones are just as addicting! I think next are Easter houses with Spring flowers and bright (or pastel) colors!
Kelly added so much more to her houses and you can check them all out right HERE. Make sure you leave yourself some time if you've never visited her blog before...she will definitely inspire you with all the beauty she creates! Thanks so much Kelly!!

Adorable! I'm glad you were inspired because these are really cute. They will be the hit amongst receivers or onlookers -- your choice, remember?! BUT the grands will love looking at them, I'm sure
I loved Kelly's Vlaentine houses and yours are delightful! The pink and kraft are great together, and I'm impressed with your ingenuity in creating the box!
Marcia, as much as I like your brick house, it's that darling pink house that wins my heart today! This AND chocolate?? You spoil us!
=]
I'm sorry I have been awol lately, Marcia. My hub and I were so sick with flu for the holidays and still catching up on things. I hope you had a lovely holiday season. These Valentine houses are so special. I love all the detail you added and I love that they hold little treats. So much fun!
That was me, BTW!
Kelly is amazing and so are you, Marcia! Oh, my goodness, these houses make the cutest Valentine boxes! They would definitely be hard to give away. Guess you just have to make more! So darling and fun!
Oh, I love your Valentine houses Marcia. Love all the details and that you made your own box to add the treats. Great job my friend. ((hugs))
WOW! I am seriously impressed, Marcia! These houses are fantastic and I imagine at least one of your grands will talk you out of gifting it to them, especially if it's filled with candy! (I'd be tempted to hoard them though.)
These house are so beautiful Marcia!! What a fun die and you can use for so many occassions. I love the Valentine Houses you've made ... I do love PINK! :) Great work! xx
These are darling, Marcia!!! I love the pink and kraft together and the sweet valentine feel to these shoppes. Turning them into treat boxes is brilliant.
Your houses are delightful, Marcia. And to make them gift boxes too. It must be like playing with doll houses and I can see your mind working to see what else you can do with them BTW, Follow.it has fixed the problem I was having but I still don't get yours or Michele's blog posts that way. That's why I'm so far behind in comments. I just saw your cute chef card too. Adorable.
