The water pitcher and flowers were stamped and colored with my Copics before die cutting and then placed over a background I made using a mask and PB's classy frames dies. I ink blended the masked background using residual ink on my turquoise blending brush and then stamped over it using a Heidi Swapp background stamp from 2013 before removing my mask.
I changed up the colors a bit on this one, but otherwise it's the same as the first, and does have the frame attached!
Two pretty simple cards and I'm very happy with the way they turned out! And YAY for 2 more cards for the birthday stash...I was running seriously low!!
Lots of inspiration from the DT that you can find right HERE, so check it out and play along if you're a Penny Black lover like me! This challenge is open till Friday, June 6th @ 8:00PM.

I absolutely love both of these! The first thing that caught my eye was the amazing scripty background you used. It sets off the flower filled watering can so perfectly. The frame on the second one completely changes the look too. Beautifully done on both of these, my friend.
With or without the frame, Marcia these are really stunning! I love that background stamping over your blended area!
That watering can is so gorgeous and much bigger than I imagined it to be - I hope you had room to pack it in your go-bag! See you soon!

BOTH versions are gorgeous, Marcia! While the frame is assumed on the first card, it totally works. Glad you're enjoying the "gifts" that came to Michigan.
Wow! Your shading on the pitcher is awesome and so is the background on each! Those little flowers are so dainty and you've colored them beautifully too. So classy, my friend!
Both cards are fabulous. Wonderful shading and such pretty images.
Both cards are so lovely, Marcia. I LOVE the idea of using the classy frames as a mask. I need to give that a go! :) xx
Marcia you inspired me with the first card as I was thinking how I loved the stamping in the shaded area. And then along came the second card in neutrals with the frame and I love that one even more! Love how you added the little flower sprig with twine at the base of the pitcher on each card. They're both so pretty!
Oh, I like these! Both versions are lovely and I like that the way the blooms are arranged in the can resemble a heart shape! Well done, Marcia!
The coloring on the pitchers is amazing, Marcia, and that inked and stamped background is a perfect way to show it off. I like it with or without the frame.
Love both of these, Marcia (I pretty much love everything you make...). I am so in love with those frame dies, and have been resisting purchasing them because I just have TOO MUCH STASH! But every time I see you and others use them I weaken a bit. Love the scripty background and the subtle colors and I always love me a pitcher. Beautiful cards!
Both your cards look amazing with the soft pretty backgrounds xx
