I'm a BIG fan of WF's Postage Collage stencils, stamps, and dies, and think there's only a couple of the many, many sets they have that I don't own! For this card I used the die that cuts out the grid of postage stamps and then colored just 3 of them using the Postage Collage Coloring Stencil (for the gray & white stripe stamp) and the Postage Collage Rose Stencil for the other 2 stamps. I then cut them apart for the individual stamps and layed them out in the sketch pattern on my card base.
I also added a die cut honeycomb piece from SU!'s Honey Bee set, along with a large and smaller bee also from the same SU! set. I used WOS on the bees wings, but obviously does not show up on my card. The top right stamp has foam tape behind it for a little dimension, and also the sentiment strip from Gina K's All At Once Greetings. Pretty CAS and I love the way this one turned out!
Lots of great inspiration from both DT's to get your mojo started, and you can check out the DD Challenge right HERE and the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge HERE. The DD Challenge is open till Sunday, Aug. 17th @ 8:00PM and the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge is open till Monday, Aug. 11th @ 3:00PM.

I am blown away by this lovely card. I also love the postage stamp collage from Waffle Flower and have a lot, but not all of them. I love the bees with the flowers. the eye catcher addition was the die cut honey comb. I appreciate your entry for Double D Challenge.
Oh Marcia ... this is awesome! I think I'm the only one who did NOT buy those Waffle Flower stamps/dies (regretfully) ... you've certainly created a beauty using them. Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Double D challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.

Okay, you KNow you had me at grey stripes, right? They give your lovely arrangement of blooms [oh I see that orange rose!] and bees a little French kiss! But the clincher is that honeycomb tucked in there, Marcia! WOW was that a brilliant touch!
I love it when those collage sets come out to play - and am so happy to see you embrace the Sketch, my friend!

Your bees and blooms are so pretty, Marcia! Love the die cut honeycomb is the perfect addition!
Beautiful perfection with the soft stenciling and the FMS arrangement. I should have gotten some of these sets at the outset as your card is really making me want them! Love those bees, too. The bigger one must be the queen because I see the pretty lace trim on her body. Cute! I see I'm not the only one who was drawn to the delicate honeycomb. What a nice touch that is. A really top notch card for both challenges, Marcia!
Oh this is the best of each challenge perfectly translated to a fantastic card. well done.
Your pretty little roses and buzzy bees look perfect on the postage stamps. But it's that touch of honeycomb that I love the most! Pretty card, Marcia!
Ohhh! What a beautiful use of the postage dies for your pretty creation -- love the stripey background for the bee but the flowers and honeycomb are equally enchanting
I love all of your special elements - the stencilled flowers, the charming little bees and even the bit of honeycomb! Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
You combined those dies, floral stencils and little bees in such a beautiful way, Marcia.
Adorable bee card with the pretty blooms.
Sweet! A lovely summery card Marcia. Love those postage stamps too and you've used them beautifully to create an adorable card. xx
what a great design for both of the challenges Marcia! love the soft colors you used on the postage cuts! I haven't used the postage die in so long - you have inspired me to get it out and play! Julia xx
This is gorgeous, Marcia! The stamps are wonderful, and I just love that little piece of honeycomb peeking through. Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.
Oh my stars, this is absolutely delightful! I love your idea to use the postage stamps for the sketch part of the challenge. Absolutely perfect! And I'm so glad you made DD Challenges part of this beautiful card. What a brilliant mind you have!
Love how you incorporated bees with your postage stamps and that touch of honeycomb is the perfect touch! Congrats on your Princess status!
This is such a fantastic card, Marcia. I love that you used the postage dies ro mimic the sketch. They are perfectly placed. The stencilled lowers are beautiful - love the colors. And the striped background for the large bee is perfect. Love the detail of the die cut honeycomb. Wonderful card!
