My first thought was Halloween with this color pairing, but I can't seem to stay on top of birthday cards this year, so I pulled out an oldie but a goody stencil from PTI called Wild Blooms and a WF Postage Collage Die and came up with this...
I stenciled first with shades of orange and green and then used the postage die to make it look like a collection of stamps. I love experimenting with stamps and stencils that are not specifically meant for the postage collage dies, but come out so cool looking anyways! After stamping the postage amounts and cancellation marks in each section, I backed the panel with a piece of Certainly Celery cs (SU! - retired) and then added both layers to a white card base.
To finish my card, I hot foiled my sentiment in copper (to kind of go with the orange theme), and then added a die cut postage circle, baker's twine, Disco Ball sequins (Gina K) and a small vellum butterfly from Poppystamps Butterfly Button dies.
We (the DT and our Special GD Lisa K.) have some beautiful and fun examples to share with you for inspiration using these 2 great colors, and you can check them all out right HERE. We can't wait to see what YOU come up with using these two colors! This challenge is open till Sunday, Sept. 14th @ 9:00AM.

Thanks for stopping by today ... I love it when you do!

Marcia, you know how much I love those Wild Blooms, and they are so pretty in these wonderfully soft shades of the new challenge colors! First class mail, for sure!

This card is darling, Marcia! It seems like those stencils fit the postage die perfectly. Now I'm on the lookout to see if I can find these stencils. These colors are perfect!
Oh my goodness Marcia! This is BEAUTIFUL! what a clever idea to use a full stencil over the postage dies! (I have both the stencil and the die so I will be CASEING you for sure) The colors are perfect for this stencil - thanks for the inspiration! Julia xx
Beautfiful card and a great way to use the challenge colours, Marcia. I just recently bought the postage die ... you've inspired me to look at my stamps in a whole new way! :) Great work, my friend! xx
This looks amazing with the Wild Blooms! If this was a full sheet of postage stamps I can see that each single stamp would be so pretty in its own right. Love love these colors with some more soft and others more prominent. Your vellum butterfly almost appears to be part of the stenciling. So lovely all over!
I'm loving your non-Halloween direction, Marcia! Gosh this is just dreamy. The soft colors are perfect with those blooms! This is a whole lot of PRETTY!
What a great combination of elements. I would never have thought to use that stencil with the postage collage. Thanks for the inspiration. It looks fabulous.
What a beautiful way to use your stencil and collage die! I love this in the colors and it works perfectly for a Birthday!
I love how you used the postage stamp collage as a background instead of cutting the stamps apart! It makes a really interesting addition to this beautiful stenciling! A really, really pretty card, my friend!
Marica, your Wild Blooms stencil pairs beautifully with the WF postage background. I have yet to try different stencils with the postage collage; thank you for the inspiration to do so. A lovely showcase of orange and green...

Using a stenciled panel as a background for your postage dies was indeed a new way to use that stencil and the results are wonderful, Marcia.
I had decided to use my new postage die set but then life or washing machines got in the way!! Your use of the stencil with the die set works really well Marcia, such a pretty choice of orange and green too. :)
I love how this card turned out! It is really beautiful, Marcia! That Celery CS was always one of my favs from SU! You have certainly inspired me to do some crafting today and more specifically-stenciling. Thanks for the push, I needed someone to do it.
I'm about to post a card with that stencil which I just love! What's great about this card is using the postage dies and stamps with it. Such fabulous inspiration!
