Good morning friends. Hope you all had a great weekend. Busy one here, but I do have a card to share! A BRIGHT and busy card, but I still really like the way it turned out. My background paper is what inspired this card, so take a look:
I loved all the bright colors of the village houses in this background paper, and used those same colors to die cut the pieces from PTI's "Polka Dot Parade #9" to make my Christmas tree. I used a Spellbinders label die cut out with a speckled off white cardstock to adhere my tree to so it would stand out and not get lost in the background paper. If you click to enlarge the photo, you can also see that I added a vellum snowflake (PTI die) behind the tree layer, and then a turquoise blue banner behind the snowflake. A red sheer ribbon and a couple silver nailheads (Gina K) finish off the card. It is a busy card, but again, I really like how cheery and bright it turned out!
That's all for today friends. Have a wonderful Monday and thanks so much for stopping by...I love it when you do!! :0)
