Hello friends. Another card for Papertrey Inks 7th Anniversary - Day 1 challenge, where you are supposed to pick a color recipe and layout that they provided. Here's the colors recipe and layout that I chose:
And here's the card I created:
I bought "Delightful Dahlia Additions" stamp set last fall and have loved all the cards Dawn McVey has made with it, but I have to admit I haven't used it until now because I was just a little bit intimidated about being able to line it up right. I finally figured out after watching Dawn's video about 3 times how to line up the large flower, but the smaller flowers drove me nuts and I've come to the conclusion that my eyes are just too OLD for something that tiny!! But anyway, I like how the card turned out! Well, except maybe I wished I would have embossed the sentiment on the vellum instead of just stamping it so it would have been a little darker...live and learn! (sentiment is from PTI's "Blooming Button Bits) You can check out all the rest of the entries here.
Thanks so much for stopping by to take a peek today and have a great rest of your weekend! :0)

Beautifully done. Nothing wrong with your eyes. Like what you did.
Blessings
That stamp set is beautiful. Your eyes seem alright to me too. It looks lined up. Beautiful card!
