The DSP really is not faded towards the bottom of the card...more than likely just my poor photography skills! I used Hero Arts Unicorn pigment ink to stamp everything on the black chalkboard paper (Hobby Lobby), and then I went over the holly leaves and the small leaves at the bottom with a couple Copic markers (YG63 & YG97). I used a white chalk marker to go around the edges (SU!) and also added a couple white glittery enamel dots for the holly berries.
You can check out all the DT's awesome cards and all the other entries right HERE.
Thanks so much for stopping by today...I love it when you do!! :0)

I like the technique, and really like the sentiment!
I like this technique too and don't hardly ever use it. Maybe we should do this as a challenge sometime. ;0) Your card is super sweet and I love that you used the little flourish from Choose Joy at the bottom. What a nice touch!!
your card is so pretty Marcia - that plaid background is perfect for the lovely sentiment - to be honest, making the card as guest designer was only the second one i'd ever made and don't know why i haven't used that technique more often either - looks like a winner to me (but i don't get to vote)
Hello Marcia, I loved the Scottish feel, the good chalkboard effect and a Christian themed Christmas card always gets my vote. Very nice
Marcia, this is so pretty. I love your pattern paper show casing your sentiment. Thanks for joining us this week at Merry Monday.
Marcia what a beautiful design and your chalkboard is just perfect backed with the plaid!
I love the combination of the tartan with the chalkboard effect. It really is lovely.
