I'm not much of a drinker, so I do not own any stamps or dies of glasses. However, I do own the SU! Detailed Santa Thinlits dies, and this Santa is wearing GLASSES!!
I die cut him out of white and then die cut just the portion with his glasses in gold mirror cardstock and glued it over the white pair of glasses. Some red and gold cs for layering on a white card base with a little strip of Pure Poppy striped DSP at the bottom left the perfect amount of space to add my sentiment from PTI's Think Big Favorites: #20. I finished it off with a thin strip of gold cs along the top of the DSP and then a few gold stars. I've had this die for two Christmases now and have never used it till now...why do I do that???!!

Just love your Santa with gold glasses, Marcia! So dramatic on the red cs and I love the little gold stars too! And perfect with the narrow striped edge!! I'm with you - why do we delay using what we can't wait to have in the first place?! Glad you finally gave that Santa die a play - great card!!

HO HO, I love this die and how clever to add your "glasses" to his face! I know I didn't think I had any glasses either, and knew when I saw Lin's card on the private page that it looked familiar...so I just had to take a different spin on it! How fun!!
