I had used PTI's Pierced Feature Frames dies on my original card and saved the small inside piece, and then cut another frame using plain white to frame the plaid piece. Then I added a Poppystamps die called Holly Merry Christmas that I die cut multiple times using Old Olive and Mossy Meadow cardstocks.
Do you know what the hardest part of this simple little card was?? I kept losing those little red glitter dots for the berries!! I had no punches that size, so I had to die cut the whole sentiment from the red glitter cardstock, and then when I'd go to punch it out of the die, the little berries would go flying...grrrrr! Had to die cut the sentiment 3 times just to get the 4 little dots for the berries! I do like that tiny pop of color though, so it was worth it in the end!!
The DT has some great PLAID cards to share with you for inspiration, so check them all out right HERE and then play along with us! This challenge is open till the 24th.

This is beautiful, Marcia, I love how the red 'pops' against the green, Jo x
The red does make a great little pop of color with that fabulous plaid, Marcia. I think I would have just filled the berry holes with some kind of red drops. :D
I really love the outlined greeting dies, Marcia - sorry about those red bits, did you check Daisy? lol Are those wonderful greens from PTI or SU?
Fabulous plaid!

You do know your way around plaid! Love that die cut sentiment. Your red dots were worth the hassle!
Marcia, I knew I recognized that plaid and think this card is just as terrific as your first. I love the green plaid and your sentiment. Sorry the red berries caused you grief, but your perseverance paid off, because they do add a lot to the whole card! Heart Hugs, Col
This is the most beautiful plaid Marcia!! So happy you had enough leftover to make this amazing card! Love the beautiful shades of green with your large sentiment. Those red dots really do add a pop of colour. So worth it in the end! xx
Love your stenciled background, that stencil set is on my wish list :) love the card ♥
This is fabulous Marcia! You can never go wrong with plaid.
It sure was worth it Marcia and those little red dots are perfect and so is this stunner of a 'Plaid' card x.
Such a beautiful plaid, Marcia! I love how you used your stitched frames to showcase your sentiment, too...another lovely Christmas card ~ xx
Great save using your left over smaller piece of beautiful greens plaid for this card Marcia - the pierced frames are something I use a lot and love! Your die cut sentiment is wonderful with the two layers - and I hear you about the little circle from die cuts - along with the dots of i's - often go missing on my craft table as well! xx
Great idea, love the bold alphas.
Beautiful, Marcia. The fiddly small pieces always frustrates me, too, but they do complete the sentiment so we’ll worth the effort.
How beautiful is that sentiment with your plaid! I love this
I'm still loving this plaid, Marcia! It's such a perfect match with that fantastic die cut sentiment! Glad you chased down those berries as they add the perfect bit of extra color!
Great use of the leftover piece from your previous card! Love the layout and framing! This would make a great masculine card!
I'm so happy to get to see this plaid again, Marcia! I LOVE it! And this time, you made a wonderful card with a dark green theme. The outlined sentiment looks awesome on the color-matching plaid. It was so worth die-cutting the sentiment 3 times for the tiny red berries. They are small but brighten the card in a big way!
Hideko xx
Fabulous way to use your plaid insert, Marcia - love the sentiment, even with the fiddly berries! I hear you - those bitty diecuts drive me crazy!!
