I love this color combination and had fun playing with a new Christmas gift from my girlfriend Sue using the NAVY & LIME color combo. So much fun in fact that I made two cards! Actually I started with two stenciled backgrounds switching the colors around and decided I liked both, so I ended up with two cards. Here's the first one...
This was the first one I made where the navy is more prominent in the stenciled background (PFS - Argyle). I cut it down a bit to fit a layer that I die cut with The Greetery's Postal Frames Dies using a Gina K's Key Lime cs and then attached to a Into the Navy (also Gina K) cs card base.
I wish my Key Lime inking and cs showed up better as they are a much brighter green in real life! (Not much sunshine in the Winter months here in Michigan!) My Christmas gift was Unity's stamp set called Flock Talk that I had to add to my wish list after seeing both Bonnie and Michele use these sweet birdies! I stamped this cutie with Night of Navy ink (SU!) and then right away used an Aqua Painter to spread the ink around a bit to color the sweet little guy. I die cut him into a circle from Gina K's Master Layout #15 set which also has the layer behind it to make it look like a postage stamp. My sentiment came from Concord & 9th's Tweet Life and I finished with a couple silver gems from PFS.
My 2nd card is basically the same as the 1st, just a different birdie and sentiment and the colors switched around. Take a look...
Once again, my greens are much brighter in real life, but I think this bird is a hoot and totally makes up for the green not being as bright as I'd like!
This sentiment is also from the Concord & 9th set and will be going out as a thank you to my sweet friend Sue who gifted me this stamp set.

Marcia a twofer is always a win! Love both of your cards with this amazing color duo! Always look to see what you have made! xo
I might like a three-fer with these fabulous birds, Marcia! It was so fun stamping mine while with Bonnie - but I sure look forward to stamping a few more in February when we 'dig out' of the snow!
Two absolutely adorable cards using these fun birds with those fun CH colors!

Tweet indeed! Love the sweet, funky bird and the argyle adds so much spunk to both of these fun cards, Marcia
What a great use of this color combo! Both birds are as "tweet" as can be, but I do get a kick out of the overstuffed bird with bulging eyes.... perhaps she just laid a whopper of an egg? Anyway, two adorable cards to share the love with. This post is twice the fun, my friend~
I know what you mean about the green, Marcia. I have a pack of that paper and it is definitely bright. I'll be pulling it out to make my card as soon as I decide what to do. Those birds are adorable and you made great backgrounds to show them off. I have that argyle stencil and haven't used it in a while. I need some masculine cards so you've inspired me to get that out too.
