Let the Hearts Begin...

Good morning friends.  Just a quick post today as I have lots to do...Calla doesn't have school today, so I need to take advantage of having a car to use! :0)  So on to today's card...a Valentine's Day card as promised.  Take a look:

This card was a great way to use up some of those little pieces of dp and cs you have laying around.  I started by gathering up all the colors and prints that looked Valentine-ish and then used my heart shaped Spellbinders to cut out a bunch of different sized hearts.  It's a little hard to see unless you click to enlarge the picture, but the top left heart and bottom right heart were both cut out with one of the heart dies first on the kraft cs, and then I added a larger size heart from behind.  Before attaching the red dotted swiss heart, I attached a little banner (stamped with PTI's "Heart to Heart #11) behind the heart, and then to give it a little bend, I only put adhesive on the left end and pushed it up a little before securing it down. I finished with a few red pearls and ribbon, and was finished! Simple, quick, and easy! :0)
