Isn't this such a pretty color combination?!! Totally makes me think Spring and Easter, and I went with Easter. Here's what I came up with...
I fell in LOVE with the Floral Butterfly Bouquets ef and the sweet little Peeking Lamb die from SSS and made an Easter card for my youngest granddaughter. I used Aqua Mist cs (PTI) for the background panel that I embossed, and then die cut a small circle opening in which to place the lamb. I used Lilac Grace cs (PTI) for the lambs ears and also the skinny frame (A2 Thin Frame Dies by Kristina Werner) and sentiment (SSS's Easter).
I added packing tape over the Lilac Grace cs before die cutting the Easter sentiment to give it that shiny look...you sure have me hooked on this technique Leslie!! I finished with a few no hole sequins in aqua and called it good.

This is darling Marcia! Love the sweet little lambie and the pretty embossing in the background. A great use of these colors.
Darling card, Marcia! Love the delicate flowers combined with the little lamb.
He looks as if he is just patiently waiting for Easter! Lovely card and I like the way your framed it in with the Lilac that matches the greeting. Enjoy your Easter Weekend!
What a sweet card, Marcia. That lamb is adorable and you found a way to make the colors work for her. The tulip embossed background is a sure sign of Spring.
Absolute sweetness, Marcia! Oh, how I love the little lamb and the embossing folder. I have a hard time not buying all the pretty embossing folders I see. I can't have everything, but I'm not hurting. I have several I haven't even used yet. This is just the prettiest charmer of a card!
Awww, what a sweet little lamb! This is a darling card, Marcia!
This is the sweetest Easter card, Marcia! I LOVE that sweet little lamb and the shades of aqua and lilac that you've used! A treasure for that treasured granddaughter!
Oh your card couldn't be any sweeter--or cuter--with that adorable little lamb! Perfect colors for an Easter card!
what a beautiful e/f but you made an even MORE beautiful card! It's so wonderful, Marcia
Love the EF you've used Marcia and of course that cute lamb. I'm afraid ours have been frolicking in the fields for too long now and their pristine coats are now a mucky white, though I did see one Welsh cross that had fared better than the rest! :)
Darling little lamb, patiently waiting to wander the tulip field and, perhaps, sample a blossom or two. Beautiful Easter card!
hugs~carol
Adorable Easter card Marcia. Love the gorgeous embossed flowers and the sweetest lamb I've ever seen! :) xx
Super cute, and perfect for spring. xxx
Now you have me intrigued with the 'packing tape' technique!!
What a wonderful way to use these very easter-y colors, Marcia. I love that adorable little lamb peeking out of that circle. Sweet, sweet Easter card!
So that's packing tape and not clear embossing? Get Out!!! This is just adorable. I am in love with that little lamb.
What an adorable card Marcia. That sweet lamb peeking out of the circle and the gorgeous embossed background. You are so good at picking the right embossing folders. Lovely, lovely, lovely Easter card my friend!
That little lamb is just so cute popping up between all the embossed tulips! Love the simplicity of your design with the frame and the large sentiment. I hope you had a wonderful Easter, Marcia!
