I started by stamping the wreath and then using the 6 coordinating stencils to fill in all the leaves and berries. The picture on the back of the packaging showed the design done in reds and greens, but I went for a more non-traditional look using pinks, aqua's and greens. I did not get the dies with this set (although I think I really need them!) and had to fussy cut the wreath which took a bit of time and carefulness, but I think I did ok.
I added foam to the back of the wreath and attached to PFS's Diagonal Stitched Circles dies in white, before attaching to a panel of white that I embossed using SSS's Holiday Greenery EF. At the top of the wreath I added a bow from The Greetery's Fit to Be Tied dies in turquoise blue cs to match with some of the leaves and the ornament. The sentiment is also from the Deck The Halls stamp set.
I finished with a few turquoise gems (PFS), a white gel pen over the berries and ornaments, and a white card base. Really LOVE the way this card turned out!!
My 2nd card is very CAS and uses one of the accent pieces from the Deck The Halls stamp set. I colored the branch and ornaments in the same colors as the 1st card and then added to a panel that I used MFT's Rectangle Peek-a-Boo Window die. I used foam tape behind the branch and ornaments for a little dimension in the window cutout and then finished simply with a sentiment that comes with the Deck The Halls stamp set.
I may have to make a few more of this 2nd card as it was so simple to do and will help to ramp up my Christmas stash a bit! Maybe change up the colors a bit...hmmm. All I know is I'm not ready to put this set away yet...too much fun!!

I adore your pastels for Christmas, Marcia! What a beautiful set - and your fussy cutting skills are showing! LOve the CAS rendition so very much!

A pretty set like this would make it a little easier for me to get started. I've been dragging my feet this year, too. Your cards are so gorgeous and your fussy cutting skills are beyond measure. The inside parts are the most difficult, but yours are flawless. Love the embossing and the beautiful bow on the first, and the sweet simplicity of the second. The pinpoint frame is the perfect place to hang those ornaments!
That wreath is gorgeous, Marcia, and the fact it comes with stencils is a big bonus. I would definitely get the dies if it were me because I hate fussy cutting but you did a fantastic job. I love the CAS version too.
Love the pretty pastel colors and gorgeous wreath on your first card Marcia. Great texture in the background too. Love your lovely CAS second card too.
Beautiful cards, and I happen to LOVE those non-traditional colors, Marcia! These are fabulous, and your fussy-cutting is pretty amazing too
These are both fantastic! Your fussy cutting skills just blow me away!! I really like the non-traditional colors you used. Hooray for starting your Christmas cards already.
What a lovely gift you received, Marcia and you've used it to perfection! Both designs are wonderful but it's that CAS version that I'm loving today!
Marcia, I'm in the same boat and haven't made a Christmas card in ages! I really need to get started on them! Your cards are fabulous in these colors! I especially love the second card. It makes my CAS heart beat a little faster!
