I used Distress Ink's for my background (Worn Lipstick, Dusty Concord, Tumbled Glass, & Salty Ocean), and then embossed in white the Lilac image from Botanical Blocks II. My sentiment is from "Reasons to Smile", and I embellished with a little black and white bakers twine and a few rainstones. Couldn't stop with just one, soooooooooo...
Used the other image from "Botanical Blocks II" for this card (not sure what this flower is...peony??) and basically made it the same way but just changed up the sentiment ("Think Big Favorites: #22).
No sun when I took my photos, but IRL my colors are much bolder!

Marcia, these are beautiful! I love the soft colors paired with the black and white. I was tempted to use black on my card as well.
Both cards are so soft and create a great backdrop for the embossed flowers. They look like framed art work
