Make It Monday #332 - Petite Pattern Play

Hello friends.  This week's Make It Monday challenge is brought to us by Michelle Leone and she shows us a fun way to create patterned backgrounds using the smaller stamps from our stamp sets!

I've had Fall on the brain for the past week, so I pulled out an old favorite: Quilted: Autumn.

I used the tiniest acorn in the set with Fine Linen ink to create my background...what did I do before the MISTI was invented???

I used a piece of kraft cardstock for my top layer and die cut a circle out to show my tiny acorn background, and then attached a piece of kraft striped DSP to the bottom third of my card.  Next I had fun stamping the colorful leaves, acorns, and greenery and then arranging them around the circle.  Some twine and a few iridescent sequins finished off my "thank you" card (Penned Elegance).

Check out Michelle's ADORABLE set of cards and video right HERE and then play along!

Thanks for stopping by today ... I love it when you do!

Gorgeous fall colours and great stamps and die cuts. The cute repeat stamping on the background looks wonderful and yey to the Misti xx

Oooh, I just love this Marcia! That little acorn is the perfect teeny stamp to create your background with. The fall floral spray is lovely. The twine adds nice rustic texture too. Very fall-ish my friend!

Officially longing for cooler weather and fall season, so your card just brought autumn breezes... so so pretty, both with fall colors and the gorgeous leafy spray. Just the right touch of twine. Looks perfect, Marcia. And as for the misti, we don't stray far from each other. Oh and love those lines of little acorns!!!

Marcia, what a lovely Fall card! The design with the stamped background and the colors used are wonderful. I've had Fall on the brain the entire summer because it's been so hot!

What a lovely fall-feeling card, Marcia! I love it...especially the little acorns. Yup, the Misti makes wonders happen. I dream of cooler weather (2 weeks now of temps into the 90s)...but unfortunately our Falls here in SoCal bring 100+ temps. UGH!

Precious fall card! So funny how in the middle of a season we all look forward to the next! I love Quilted: Autumn also. Your details of kraft, string and florals work well together.
