CAS Christmas June 2020 - Christmas Bells

Hello friends.  It's time for a new challenge at CAS Christmas and Linda is our sweet hostess this month and she would love to see Bells on your Christmas cards this month!

I had fun using only die cuts (NO stamping!) with Penny Blacks christmassy (51-453) die set.  Take a look...

I die cut 2 of the bells from Honey Nut cardstock, and then sponged Honey Nut ink (PTI) around the edges and sides to give the illusion of depth and dimension.  I had fun inking up the little holly leaves and berries and pine sprigs too, and then added a bow from The Greetery's Fit To Be Tied set.

Here's a closer up so you can see the detail better.  I attached the bells to The Greetery's Nordic Frame Dies and then both to a top folding white card base.  I left my sentiment off because it would have looked too crowded on the front.

You can check out what the rest of the DT and our Special GD LeAnne came up with this month right HERE and then play along with us.  This challenge is open till the 24th.  Remember to keep your cards CAS and to use a Bell(s) on your card.  We can't wait to see you in the gallery!!

Thanks for stopping by today ... I love it when you do!

What a gorgeous bell card, Marcia! Your sponged bells are amazing and the sponging adds so much depth and dimension to the die-cuts. The wonderful Nordic Frame finishes the card beautifully. I've been eyeing the frame but it's always "out of stock".
I'm so happy to be on the same Design Team with you! :-)

What a fabulous bell die! The shading you added to it gives a real sense of dimension, and all the little sprigs and the bow finish it off perfectly.
