CAS Christmas Reminder - Nativity

Hello friends.  Just a friendly reminder that the CAS Christmas Challenge is still open to play along with until the 24th of this month.  We are looking for a NATIVITY on your Christmas cards this time around.

I used a Papertrey Ink stamp and die set to create my card...take a look:

Most of my card is die cut from the Petite Places: Nativity set, only the image of the holy family is stamped.  I used black, gray, and light gray to die cut the night sky, the town of Bethlehem, and the palm trees, and then the stable and behind the black layer is gold cardstock.

I mounted my die cut images to a white panel and then stamped my greeting from PTI's O Holy Night stamp set.  I finished with a layer of black cardstock and attached both to a top folding white card base.  Very CAS and I love the way this turned out!

Make sure you check out all the beautiful cards from our DT and our Special GD Jane for more inspiration, and then play along with us right HERE.

Thanks for stopping by today ... I love it when you do!

Gorgeous card Marcia! Love the colours you've used for your Nativity scene. Keeping it in neutral gray, black, and white really shows off all the details. Adding the gold creche really makes it stand out --- GORGEOUS! And the gold in the starry sky too! Thanks again for hosting this wonderful challenge! xx

I'm very late commenting on the DT CAS Christmas cards as my computer died and it took a while to get a new one and get it up and running! Wonderful layering of the dies and a gorgeous night sky!
